Welcome to The Cricketers Arms! |
|
The Cricketers Arms is situated in Danbury overlooking the Common. This splendid country pub is made up of a delightful bar, divided into small intimate seating areas with an array of cricket memorabilia adorning the walls, plus a charming Dining Room/Restaurant that's open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Run by licensees Gary & Jackie, the pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere and has remained unspoilt throughout the years.
The Cricketers has always been known as a 'good eating place' with local produce and game being used when available. A daily specials board features a variety of dishes all homemade by our Chef. As well as a offering a delicious traditional Sunday lunch, the pub offers a good selection of Real Ales, including Spitfire and Master Brew, along with a good choice of wines to complement an excellent menu.
The restaurant is available for private parties and can seat 30 covers, or for buffet style occasions up to 60. If you would like further information, please fill in the form on our Private Functions page or call in and discuss your specific requirements with Jackie or Gary. In the warmer months, you'll find the attractive 'Beer Garden' ideal if you've got young children. There's the occasional 'Jazz Night' and also one or two 'Quiz Nights'. The Cricketers is a charming traditional pub and Jackie & Gary look forward to welcoming you soon.
